• HBA – Habilitation Services in a Supported Developmental Home – Foster Care for Children and Adults

  Habilitation Services in the context of a Supported Developmental Home are designed to support individuals with developmental disabilities—both children and adults—who are placed in foster or family-based settings. The goal is to build life skills, increase independence, and support behavioral, emotional, and communication development.

  Goal: Increase independence in daily living tasks within the home environment.

• Habilitation in an Enhanced Behavioral Group Home

  An Enhanced Behavioral Group Home is a licensed residential setting that offers 24/7 supervision and support. Increased staffing ratios. Staff trained in behavior intervention and de-escalation. Structured programming with a strong focus on behavior management. Serve individuals with developmental disabilities who also exhibit challenging behaviors that require intensive behavioral support. Habilitation services provided in these settings are highly structured and individualized to support behavior reduction, skill acquisition, and overall stability in a safe and therapeutic environment.

  Goal: Decrease targeted maladaptive behaviors and increase coping strategies.

• RRB – Room & Board – All Group Homes

  Room & Board in group homes refers to the non-service-related costs associated with housing and meals for individuals receiving care in a residential setting.

  Goal: Participate in maintaining a clean and organized personal space.

• RBD – Room & Board: Developmental Home

  Room & Board – Developmental Home refers to as Adult Developmental Homes (ADH) or Child Developmental Homes (CDH). These are family-style foster care homes for individuals who require support in a home-like environment.

  Goal: Participate in household routines and family-style setting.
